THEY F*CKING KILLED OFF SYBILL!!!!! CRUEL HUMANS, HOW COULD THEY DO THIS!???? I'm talking about the most recent episode of Downton Abbey.. Sybill was having her baby with a few complications and because of the bloody stupidity of her father who wouldn't listen to the right doctor, she then died. I was so hearbroken! Tom and Cora were crying so much in her last seconds, it was horrible. They did an absolutely amazing job with the filming though. I was so shocked, even though I knew it was going to happen from the beginning of the episode.
They said in a spoiler there was going to be a baby, a wedding and a death. I hated that the baby and the death were so closely connected. Tom was a bit annoying with his dreadfully radical views and all of that but he never deserved his wife to die! Mary said something along the lines of ''she was the best person in this house'', which I totally agree with. She was the sweetest person whom everyone cared about, and Downton is going to be way sadder without her!
Ok, now I've got that of off my chest I'mma tell you about ''The Amazing Adventures of Rosa'', which is a book that should come out really soon... It's essentially about my amazing time on Gold Premio in Gredos, Spain!! It was sooooo much fun! And soooo much hard work but, now that I look back at it, it was SO worth every bit of light headedness after a really steep hill and every bit of cow muck I stepped in! And believe me there was a lot of both. We went there by bus, so imagine twenty teenagers on an eight hour bus road trip! Actually, it was only a bit of that and a LOT of discussing suicide, abortion and other stuff.. (ô.õ) Well yeah, see, we're not just regular teens, we're private-school-with-geniuses-and-agument-lovers kinda teens... Was fun I guess! Then we got there and had a lot of stuff to do after realizing our bags were packed a hundred times to heavy! We actually walked for four days and an approximate sixty-five kilometers. UP AND DOWN MOUNTAINS at a hight of one-thousand-sixhundered-and-something. We live at see level. My lungs hurt. A lot. Well I can't remeber a lot of the walking except for the pain in my shoulders, back and feet, but it was a bloody lot! I obviously got blisters, but they weren't tooo bad! My darling friend Nesi had blisters with a diameter of, like, five centimeters. I'm not even kiding! The nights were a lot of fun when we were just chilling and cooking and taking reeeeally improvised showers, and massages. Can't forget those! I was soo happy when we finished the whole thing, and you have nooo clue how close we all got through the trip! So niiice! My mom thinks I have Stockholm Syndrom, because I've been complaining that I have nothing to do and that I wanna build a tent and that I want to go back; poor woman!! :D
All in all the trip really can be accurately summarized as: walking up gigantic piles of cow poo!!
We even made a song! It's based on The Llama Song. (Check it out!!) Here goes:
Happy cow, sad cow, totally rad cow!
Super cow, drama cow, big fat mama cow!
Pain! Pain! MOOOOORE PAIN!
Sebi, Juan Fran, Teachers! (Instructors who were realllly nice!)
It's so beautiful!!!! :'( Poetry! Such artistry! I know, thank you, thank you!! You don't have to tell me how much you love it! I already know!
Now there's one probem 'though, I've missed a week of school. NOT COOL in the IB! NOT COOL! :S There's sooooo much stuff to catch up on!! Nooooooo! People are so mean! And here we're back to the beginning! It's a devils circle! You can never get out of it! First they kill off Sybill and then they give me waaaaay much homework!
One more thing I gotta say.. Gossip Girl premiered last week, yay! I watched the first episode but so far it's still pretty boring, I just like the Chuck-Translator-Dad storyline! Everything else is kinds boring! Blaire, blah, Serina, blah, Dan, blaaaahhhhhh! Whatever, we'll see how the season goes! 'Tis the last one after all! They better ake it good! Maybe they can even bring back Taylor Momsen??? Jenny was such a cool character! I loved her!!
Still got a bunch of stupid homeworks to do, so, I'mma leave you with thatt!!!
Byeeee!
Songs on my fabulous iPod which recently went through the wach and didn't die:
Hey guyysss! I know I'm blogging early today, but, this is because I'm taking a trip to Spaaaaain next week. I am doing the Gold Premio, or Duke of Edinburgh Award or whatever you wanna call it. It's a six day ''walk'' in the mountains... Oh joy. Well I've already packed my bag, and bought special thermal clothes and all that sh*t, and we'll see. People say that it's so exhausting that they started crying, so I'm relatively nervous! But they also said it's one of the best experiences of your life; so I hope it's worth the coldness, tears and pain.
One thing that I'm really nervous about though is that Imma miss like six days of school and theres gonna be a LOT of stuff I'll havta do afterwards -.- Nooooo so much worrrrrkkkk! Art and Maths and Chem and German (actually that one's not rlly hard for me :D) and History and English... :'( Oh, speaking of English, we are reading this amazing play called The History Boys by Alan Bennett. It's basicly about a bunch of boys in an all boys school studying History and trying to get into Oxbridge. There's Dakin (Dominic Cooper) the attractive, overly selfconfident guy, who thinks that everyone should love him, Posner, the youngest, who just discovered that he's gay, and, in love with Dakin, Scripps who is a really religious guy and Dakin's best friend, and my favourite character, and five other boys and a bunch of teachers.
It's a really modern play that includes a lot of swearing and pretty interesting themes... It starts with a French lesson where they pretend to be in a brothel and Dakin plays the client and Timms (James Gordon) the prostitute and Dakin actually strips down to his underwear and Timms comments ''aahh, quelles belles jambes''.. (excuse my bad French!) That made me laugh so much!! And then the headmaster enters and they have to pretend to reinact a world war two hospital with shell shocked soldiers :D..
Then there's a new History teacher who, Dakin starts to like, even though he is heterosexual, and gets all annoyed when said teacher completely ignores him. One of the other teachers ''thouches'' the boys, and other topics are also discussed, like the unimportance of woman in history..
The play is very educative and the characters are presented as really likable and you are ver able to connect with them emotionally. In the end of the book, all of the boys do get into Oxford and Hector, their touchy General Studies teacher, dies. I felt really sad about this and even got a little chocked up at the last few pages where the boys honour their favourite teacher and it is said what becomes of them. My favourite quote was from Hector, they are the closing words of the play, after he has already died and still make me sad when I read them: ''Pass the parcel. That's sometimes all you can do. Take it, feel it and pass it on. Not for me, not for you, but for someone, somewhere, one day. Pass it on, boys. That's the game I want you to learn. Pass it on.'' He may have done bad things sometimes but he was a very good teacher. The posts title is a quote if one of the boys who is concidered as a bit stupid, answering the question of 'What is History?' in his mock entrance interview for Oxford (he does get in!). This really is a good play and they made a film of it, with some brilliant actors, which I also love. The duality of human nature, is portrayed very well through the character of Hector whom you can't really help but like. Scripps I said was my favourite character through the way his religiousness and his swearing contrast and make him seem like he is a really genuine person. Dakin and Posner make some brilliant comedy and the play/film is full of litearture and actually does tach the reader some English and some History. Hector says something else which is really true, he sums up a sensation I could completely relate to. ''The best moments in reading are when you come across something - a thought, a feeling, a way of looking at things - that you'd thought special, particular to you. And here it is, set down by someone else, a person you've never met, maybe even someone long dead. And it's as if a hand has come out, and taken yours.'' Something, one of my friends showed me the other day is the USA's interpretation of the BBC's Sherlock. It is called Elementary and stars Jonny Lee Miller as Sherlock Holmes and Lucy Liu as Joan Holmes... Ohhh, they gender swapped Watson... This will be interesting. It does make the series seem more modern in a way, also it enables people to speculate about the possibility of a relationship between the two. Ohmogod, I would hate that to happen, it would ruin their relationship forever in my eyes.. OR will they make Sherlock gay, in order to modernize the show even more?! So many possibilitiess! The story lines of the episodes - so far only two - do not relate to the original Sherlock series which I don't really mind. Now, it is obviously IMPOSSIBLE for me not to judge Elementary and Sherlock against eachother, as they are basicly the same thing. I must say there is nothing that can touch on the geniusity of Steven Moffat and his sarcastic humor so there is no way that anything can ever be BETTER than Sherlock. I still really like the other show too, I just like the crime solving brilliancy of any Holmes, even if no one can ever replace Benedict Cumberbatch's narcisistic, toddlerlike Sherlock. I will just let them exist paralelly and not juxtapose them so that I can enjoy them both!!! The latest episode of glee was also awakening the feels!!! I mean how can alllllll the couples on the program break up!??? Howww, you cruel, cruel people. The only hope I have left is for Jake and Marley, pleaaaaase get together!! And one thing that was especially bad is that, it was said that this episode would be the one in which my baby bwoi Blake is introduced.... The only new character what the guy which whom Blake had cheated on Kurt... No. Mwaaaaw, why does he have to be a mean person? Actually, there's still hope. Maybe, he didn't know anything about the fact that Blaine had a boyfriend. Maybe. Oh and, Mr Schu also had a fight with Emma.. Those are two which HAVE to stay together.. Please..? You leave me with no hope that love sometimes actually works :'( Well, at least the episode had some nice songs.. The Scientist by Coldplay what the most tearjerking one of all.. Ok, I've got to do some more packingg!!! See ya in a weeeekkkk! Listen to these while I'm gone! Glee: Don't Speak - Glee Cast The Scientist - Glee Cast Mine - Glee Cast
First of all I want to say thank you so, so, so, so much for all you people who read about my boring life and what I do and don't like, last month I got over six-hundred views in total which is double what I got in any other month before that. Thank you so much! I'll try to keep doing what I am doing now and create content that is atleast somewhat interesting to you guys!
So, who watched the last episode of the Ponds last night... You're right, I did, and I cried through out the end. Ohmigod. I hadn't even noticed how much I started to like Amy and Rory. As you all know, Rose Tyler is my favourite companion ever, and her leaving was the only time I cried before in Doctor Who. But with her and all the other companions their leaving was built up for a few episodes and the Ponds were just ripped out of the story really, really suddenly, I mean I knew it was coming, but I still wasn't prepared! It was an amazing episode after a few ones which I didn't like as much, but this one was perfection! Thank you Steven Moffat, for giving these amazing characters such a good last page to their story.
The episode's bad guys were the Weeping Angels which, for me, are the most terrifying DW monsters ever. Worse than the fricking Daleks or Cybermen. This is because, they give you reason to be affraid of the dark and scare you of statues, which are often pretty creepy anyways. Worst thing, you can't NOT BLINK forever!
Well it started off with a pretty little picknick but nothing ever goes smoothly with the Doctor so Rory goes to get coffee and ends up zapped back in time by a creepy baby angel and ends up in the book which Amy and the Doctor are reading in the present, so they know that something's wrong... In the past Rory meets River, who manages to get the Tardis to find their location, but by the time Amy and the Doc are there Rory's been zapped again. So they go find him and it's a weird kind of appartment building where there are more angels. Rory walks around in the building and finds a room called ''Williams, R.'' so he goes in and there he sees himself dying of old age. Amy, the Doctor and River find him, and Amy figures she and Rory have to flee to prevent that from happening. So they run to the roof where they're surprised by a giant Statue of Liberty Angel and in order to create a paradox, Rory decides to kill himself so that he can't die of old age and kill the angels.
Amy doesn't want to let him jump alone, she'd rather die with him than live alone in the present. Then they fall of the side of the roof and that was when I started crying. It was just so painful to see what Amy would do for Rory. They always say Rory loves her more, but I don't really know. I felt so sorry for the Doctor too, because he saw his best friends die that moment.
THE FEELS!!!!! ^^Explains it all!
But everything goes well and nobody dies and they all go back to the present. Just when they are about to leave, Rory sees his own gravestone in a cemetry and there is an Angel that surbived and he is so surprised to see it that he blinks. The Doctor can't cross his own timeline, so he can't go and save him. So then theres an absolutely heartbreaking scene in which Amy decides to go too, and the Doctor doesn't understand what's happening, (because in Galafreyan years he is only about twelve years old, really) River calls Amy ''mother'' for the first and only time and shows that she has gained respect for her and really does love her and is really sad to see her mother die. Amy tells her daughter to ''Melody, take good care of him, and be a good girl!'' and then thakes Rivers hand for support and blinks. The doctor breaks down and River again has to comfort him, as Amy's name is also written in stone. I can't imagine the strength of River. She obviously did live her parents even though they were a bit estranged to her and having to calm down the Doctor who looked much more like the child in the situation must not have been easy for her, I am so happy they are together. They both have enough hurt for ten people at least, but they can just rely on eachother.
Ruggedy Man,... Goodbye!
The episode ends whith the doctor reading the last page of the book detective novel which started the whole mess, it turns out to be written by Amy in the past. She also left an epilogue in which she tells the Doctor that she and Rory will never forget him and that they lived happily together for the rest of their lives. It brings the doctor a bit of comfort, but made me cry so much more again. It's really sad how much the doctor loves each of his companions (and they him) and how much of a little boy he still is really. And how they can never end happily ever after. :'(
The last thing is, River tells him not to travel alone.
We know that he won't because his new companion is Oswin, the Dalek-girl, from the first episode. It must have been overcrossing timelines again. Her past and his future, I really liked her, and am happy to see her again at Christmas.
Another thing that I realised the other day. Torchwood's Gwen would be a freaking amazing companion, I would reeeaaally want to see the Torchwood team on DW. Gwen's Welsh spirit would be very funny to have with the Doctor. And I want to see the Doc reunited with Jack, those two together are absolutely brilliant.
Talking about Welsh spirit, I've just watched the first episode of Mtv's new show The Valleys. It's basicly another version of Geordie Shore but I don't know if I will like it as much. The cast is I don't know, I immediately liked Carley, she reminds me a lot of GS's Viccy and is quite funny. I don't like the way the girls basicly all hate eachother, and are complete b*tches. From the guys I like all of them because they're all quite funny through their vanity, especially Chidgey, Leeroy's rapping is also hilarious and I like Aron, he's funny and he's a three times world champion kick-boxer.... Not bad.. But yeah, his t-shirts have more cleavage than any of mine, so he seems like another shallow little twit. Doesn't mean I won't watch them for my entertainment. And then there's Liam. He's gay. I found it quite nice of him to come out immediately so that he won't have misunderstandings, but the girl's reaction was gross. They were immediately all over him saying: ''Ohhh, I love gays and gays love me!'' and shtuff like that. I just thought poor guy, seriously, first everyone thinks he's weird and then u've got four girls hanging off ya, just cos you're gay, especially 'cos they didn't show any interest at all in him before they heard that. So yeah, I pretty much hated their reaction, and I think he probs did too.
It seems like a funny show so I will keep watching it, as long as GS is out!
I also got my first test back today... Maths SL... Not good.. I got eight out of thirty... That is precicely 27%. Yay. I must admit I didn't really study for this, but the topic is called presumed knowledge so, I guess I SHOULD have been able to do it... :S iuqwlbfv :(
Yh, I guess I have to study more...
Oh and by the way, I let my iPod go though the wash. Noooooo!!! My BABY! It's dead!
And on that note I will leave you.
Ps.: Just watched Amy's last goodbye again and I'm bawling like a newborn all over again. Horrible.
In memory of my beloved iPod: Oliver Twist - D'banj (I just rediscovered this yesterday!!! YAAYYYY! Love when this happens!)
So, this weekend I had to write the frist essay of the year. YAYYY, HISTORY, YAYYY!! Actually I realised once again that it is f*cking super-hard to write a stupid thousand word essay. Humpf. I used to have a major problem with writen too much which is really why I got this blog in the first place.. To learn the ways of proper essay writing and to also use up all my excess essay writing needs so that in the future I may be able to write better and shorter essays. Welll, I succeeded on the second part. The thing was supposed to be thousand-twohundred words... I'm not really sure if I even managed to do a thousand.. Waaaahhhh!! Sh**tt, maybe I just wasn't interested in the topic... I mean whatever I write here is probably like a thousand words every time.. Just checked. My last post was eight-fifty.. What a boss...
The 11th Doctor with Rory and Amy
What I wanted to write about this time is the last episode of Doctor Who, yay! I do watch DW every week and I think it's one of the best series ever! Steven Moffat, is a genius because I also love Sherlock and Torchwood which are two of his other series. I desperately want to see what happens when the Doctor and Sherlock meet, that would be so funny! Especially as Sherlock doesn't even think that the solar system is important enough to know. :D Haha, I mean, I don't really know the exact order either, but I do know for sure that the earth orbits thhe sun not any other way.
Well, in the latest ep of the Doctor, he came to stay with the Ponds for a while because there was an invasion of black cubes. Randomness... Especially as nothing happens for like a year. I thought it was rlly nice for Amy and Rory to have him stay in their lives for a while, because normally when he takes them on adventures they'll ''be back in a second'' since he can also contort time.. Amy says something like ''We became a part of the Doctor's life, but he never stayed long enough to become a part of ours, except once'..'' and I thought, that's a really sad but true thing. Well yeah the cubes turend out to be some earth monitoring device that infiltrated the earth and got optimal information about everything.. And some alien planned to kill some million earthlings just for fun, like always which the Doctor.
And in the end everyone is saved and there isn't any casualties. I didn't actually like this episode alot except for the quotes. Another good one, again from Amy, was ''This was when we discovered the true meaning of 'cubed'... To the power of three!''.. Yh tht was a nice one, I guess. But - I think I've said this a lot already, but who cares - I really preffer the time travel ones! I think they are much more interesting because then people get to dress up and we get to meet Van Gogh and stuff. SO cool. I guess I'm just a bit of a history nerd! :P
Another thing is, I really like the Doctor and Amy and Rory and the whole power of three thing but I'm now actually excited to meet the new companion. I've had two seasons of the Ponds, don't be mad, but I'd like fresh meat.. And Amy and Rory spent ten years on and off travelling with the Doctor, I think they're getting old and probably should retire.
Caspy Leee <3
I've also been thinking about doing second post about my favourite hotties of the moment, if you wanna see the last one check out >THIS<! Well I'm not going to do an entire post I'm just gonna list some now :)
First of all my youtube babies, which I found all in one little corner of youtube. Which turned out to be like an irish gold pot at the other end of the rainbow!! Theres maily tree guys I'm going to mention, there is more but they aren't as physically attractive and I've already linked all of them in my last post.. So yeah, my first darling is Caspar Lee, a South African teenager who is really cute and funny, and really sweet too because he like looves his family. He does, like, vloggy vids every sunday, where he just talks to the camera and makes this face that he thinks is really attractive, so it's really funny, he also consideres himself a slut. But in a good way, if that's even possible. The only thing I'm not tooo into is his wierd obsession with One Direction... Sorry babes, I don't seem to like them very much...
Finny boy!
Jack, naaaww!
Guys number two and three have to share a paragraph because they're twins. Jack and Finn Harries from JacksGap. It's actually Jack's youtube channel but Finny pays occasional visits because he is such a sexy beast and people keep fightling over which twin is hotter... Sorry Jack I'm goin with ''Finn, Finn, the hotter Twin!!''! Except for I also love Jack, he has the weirdest little skills, one of which recently warmed my heart; he was playing the harmonica... Really well actually, and I couldn't help thinking... Yes Jack, I WILL marry you. Maybe I really should become a mormon.. Having multiple husbands at the same time doesn't seem like a bad fate. But on all other grounds Finny is my boy! Also because he's artistic and he goes to Leeds Uni, which currently is one of my most top unis to got to maybe...
Cam.... Hmmm..
Moving on... I have a new and growing crush on Cam Gigandet, who I only actually know from the Twilight Saga films (and Easy A I just realized) but he is all over my pinterest and ohmigod he's hot! It's weird he looks a lot like Matt Lanter from 90210, except for the fact that I'm really not attracted to Matt.. I thinks it must be his sexy body and his tattoos! Who doesn't like a bit of a bad bwoi!? The only thing is he really isn't that much of a bad boy, he's got a girlfriend and they're having their second child at the moment, aww! I'm not actually mad about that, like some people get, with me if I don't have a complete obsession with someone I don't mind them having a girlfriend/wife, 'cos I kinda want them to be happy! My obsessions include, Alex, and Finn and Caspar are also sliding more and more into that category.
And my third guy is Max Irons, who I first got to know in Red Riding Hood a year or something like that ago. Ohmigod. He is also incredibly cute! I loved him from when I frist saw him in an arranged engagement to Amanda Seyfried and I was hoping the entire film that she wouldn't run off with the other guy. Waaaahhhh, she obviously did in the end tho.. One thing about him is, that he looks a lot like a guy I used to like waaaay back in Germany, except for that my friend who still goes to his school says he looks nothing like that... Well I guess there's always wishfull thinking.. I'm finding it kinda hard to write bout these guys because even though I am kinda in deep attraction too all of there I don't really know alot abou them... Well except for Caspy, Jack and Finny! Since youtube is such a selfbearing medium!
Maxy my sexy Brit!
Actually I just remeberd reading that Max is gonna play a part in the film of Stephanie Meyer's The Host which I am looking forward to due to that! Another thing. Ohmigod. They've cast Finnick Odair. It's Sam Claflin, who is also on my list of hotties actually! I am really excited to see this. I was only finding it weird 'cos Sam's face is so innocent!! He looks so innocent, and not at all the heartbreaker and flirt! I'm excited to see him in a new role though, It'll show if he's a good actor. The film that everyone knows him from is the latest Pirates of the Carribean, where I called him ''god-boy'' actually. Lets see if we can corrupt that image of his Ô.õ (That's supposed to be an eyebrow waggle btw)..
Another side of Sam.. I like this more!
I'm writing this in my double free since I've not got any homework for the week yet, I actually think this is quite a stupid free but whatever. It's good that I'm writing this now so that I don't waste my time procrastination over this at home. Actually I think I'll still do that because I'll have to edit this and put pics of incredibly good looking men in here... How is that not procrastination material please?! Ill post this when I'm hommme! So don't get confuuuuused.. I'm sorry I don't know what that was. I don't think I slept enough last night... I get very weird when I don't sleep :S
I won't trouble you with my randomness any longer... Fare well my friends!
Mary and Matthew from Downton Abbey are actually finally getting married!!! I am SO happy! I watched the first episode of the new season on Sunday, when I had access to an actual television at my aunt and uncle's house. :) Yaaay Downton's back! I love it!! And I was soooo happy that Mary and Matthew are finally tying the knot!!!!! It took such a long time for them to finally get together, and then there was fighting about stupid money again. And I was like ''Noooooooo!! How can this be happening!?''... But then everything turned out fine!
Maggie Smith - Dowager Countess of Grantham
Sybil married the chauffeur, who is an Irish republican and really strong opinions... Which actually annoy me most of the time. I mean you married the girl now you gotta put up with the family and try not to be so impolite! And Edith is still the vile lonesome old-maid that no one ever likes. She is so desperate for a husband she's looking at guys her father's age.. Urgh.. I mean I should probs feel sorry for her but her horrid personality cancels that out for me.. I find her really stupid and annoying. Maggie Smith's character is just amazing and made me laugh several times! Her dry little remarks on the side are the funniest because she has such traditional ideas and is a bit stuck in olden times, I find that quite sweet and I feel sorry for her that the wold is changing so much so quickly! And how I've missed Bates and Anna, I am horrified that he actually went to prison but I was shocked by his sudden outburst of anger and couldn't help thinking ''Is he really innocent!?''.. Sure his wife was old b*tch, and he's one of the nicest guys, but I guess you never really know!
Another series that started new is Glee! Yay, my singing and dancing drama-queens are back with a few new additions. Some of these being, Jake Puckerman (now where do we know that name from?), Marley Rose and a new queen biatch of the cheer leading squad.
I was obviously immediately shocked by the glee club's new found popularity and the horrible personalities they got with it! Seriously they were behaving just as bad as anyone who ever bullied them.. And then poor Rachel in NY city; all alone and her dance teacher hating her within an instant... I really did feel sorry for her! Finn is off with the army and left her all alone, which I doubt is a smart move seeing as there is a handsome Auzzie, who clearly doesn't mind her staring at his half-nakedness after showering.. I'd be actually properly shocked if Rachel cheats on Finn! I would never think that possible! But thank goodness Porcelain/Kurt decided to move to New York so now she's not as alone, and she's got her bestie back!
Jake and Marley Rose
As for the new arrivals, Marley seems like a really nice girl and an amazing singer and maybe she has the potential of becoming Rachel 2.0!? There's a small chance seeing as the remaining glee club members are already fighting over the place but I think she might just deserve it! And I do hope that Jake gets hist stuff together and joins, I was in awe when he sung his audition because it was the complete opposite of what I had expected of him, but then he got angry and did exactly what I thought he would in the first place and I wanted to shout at him ''what are you doing you stupid boy!?'' Well, he's deffs cute and talented and I can understand why already now, people are shipping Jarley :D
But what I'm really looking forward to is obviously my baby, Blake coming to the show!! I heard his first episode is ep four which is titled ''The Breakup'' and there are rumours about Kurt and Blaine.. I coincidence... Who knows.. I don't really mind if he does play a gay guy, but it'd be weird! I'm excited to see what'll happen, and I'm starting to really regret that they're not gonna have Aylin's storyline even though I didn't really want her to win the Glee Project I think it would have been absolutely brilliant and SO interesting to have that on the show!
Lonely New York Rachel
Well it took me three days to finally finish this post. Not much time when you're doing the stupid IB, I just wanted to tell you that it may start taking a while till I upload something, even though I promise I will start writing every Monday!
Byeeeeee!
Instead of my usual music collection, I'm showing you a collection of my absolute favourite Youtubers at the moment!! Click on the name and I'll send you to a video!
Caspar Lee (My dear little slut!! Cutest South African everrr! And funniest too!) JacksGap (Jack [and occasionally his twin Finn] Harries) Sam Pepper (Haha, best pranks! Such a crazy guy!) Marcus Butler (Also part of the clique and really funny!!) PointlessBlog (I love Alfie!)
HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN!? AGAIN!? I've recently been getting so many daily views that I've forgotten to update my blog again this week! I only realised now that I've come home early from school and actually have a little free time..
So what I should tell you is that school is SO incredibly exhausting!!! And - to use a metaphor - it feels a bit like I'm wearing a corset 24/7.. You know those oldfashioned thingies that women wold squeeze themselves into to make their waists look incredibly tiny and their boobs bulge out the top.. Well, yeah, appareantly you couldn't breathe in those, so thight were they.. I am having that feeling a lot currently! I wake up, got to school have classes and come home at set times every day, then when I'm home I need to make myself a schedule so that I'll get all my homework done and get some sleep, so that I won't sleep through my first period. It feels a bit like my day is portioned in tiny pieces and I always know which piece is coming up next.. Boring. And in all this mess I might have forgotten to write something for you guys! Last weekend I went camping in Praia da Galé in the south of Portugal with a bunch of people from my year, to socialize and get to know eachother better. And also for CAS which is a stupid thing which we have to complete in order not to fail the stupid IB.. It means we have to do one-hundred-and-fricking-fifty hours of sports, creativity and community service.. Joy! In addition to all the stuff we do for school anyways!!! :'(
Well, yeah, went camping! Was actually a lot of fun even though we walked for three or four hours and I got a horrid sunburn on the back of my legs and neck.. -.- Hmpf. Not very enjoyable, especially as it is a self inficted injury. And people kept telling me that I had a sunburn... I just wanted to say: ''No f*cking way!?'' in a really sarcastic tone or ''You don't say!?'' and make a really shocked face.. But even though I was a bit annoyed I wanted to stay civil so I just said thanks and then walk away. But it was just an extension of being mad at myslef really..
We swam in a really nice pool and had a competition, in which I obviously didn't take part in seeing as I can only do breaststroke. And in the evening we cooked our food (noodels and pasta) and played some games 'Transfer-the-balloon-to-the-next-person-with-your-knees/neck' which was really hard and slighly awkward, but also funny, 'I-went-to-the-supermarket' and one game where we had to make our bodies into the objests our teachers told us to, which was also hilarious! Later we sat around the campfire drinking hot chocolate and telling stories and sh*t and then some played the guitar, and it was actually quite nice!
When we actually did go to sleep we were all so tired that we just slept with ot much problems and we already went home the next day.
''I'm not dead, B*tches! - A''
Me being me, I naturally took a book on the trip even though I didn't end up actually reading a lot of it during the stay.. It was the last of the PLL books, which is called Wanted and is written by the fantastic Sara Shepard. I can't actually remeber a lot of what actually happened in THIS book, since I read all of them in such a rush but it was really cool! In this book, Ali's twin sister Courtney turns up and befriends all of the girls after some time.. Aria is the most suspicious, but when she finds her boyfriend cheating on her she goes back to her old group of friends too. I didn't like this Courtney girl from the start because nothing ever really is what it seems in these books. And it turns out I was right once again! Courtney actually turns out to be Ali who was mistaken for Courtney by their parents and sent of to a mental hospital.
Wanted by Sara Shepard
So all goes well for a while, Spencer has a sister she actually likes, Emily's biggest crush since FOREVER is finally returning her feelings, Hanna is cool again after she was cast out by the populars just because she was sent to a mental hospital/spa-thingy and Aria has her friends back. But THEN, Ali-turned-Courtney tries to kill them all by burning down a house with all of them in it and admits that before they were all friends their parents sent off Ali to the clinic, so that the girls' Ali was actually Courtney, who then died in a hole, after real-Ali had killed her and pushed her into it. So in the end everything gets pretty complicated, but appareantly Ali-turned-Courtney-turned-Ali doesn't get out of the house fast enough and dies in the flames.. And the rest of the girls live happily ever after...
Unlikely, I think Ali is probably still alive and the epilogue also kinda said that.. And there are actually more books so there can't really be a happily-ever-after just yet.
Mwaw I've already killed my schedule for today so I should really stop talking now! All I'm saying is that I'm currently having a great time with lotsa hard work but there is also some nice stuff inbetween! Like the play we're reading for English, which is fairly modern, called The History Boys and really funny!
Now that school has actually started again, you'd think that I would know better which day of the week it is right? No. You assumed wrong. I spent half of today in the firm conviction that today is Monday, it being the first day of school and all that. Then I find out that it is actually not Monday, so I believed that it was Wednesday for the next few hours. Took me 'till the end of the (school-) day to figure out that it was indeed Tuesday and that I hadn't blogged! SO sorry! School is totally messing up my body-clock completely!!! And my phone! It didn't inform me to listen to Innuendo Bingo on BBC Radio 1 as it was instructed to... Hmpf.
I'm so exausted after an actually quite nice day of school. I mean, no more French, no more Physics.. Can't complain. Except for, I only have ONE free-period per week!!!! Nooooo! Ok, but OTHERWISE 'tis good to be back! When I forst came into school it was so weird though, due to financial problems, or summin, I don't rlly know, the American school nearby has to halve its number of students so my school is completely swamped by new people. Our year is the biggest in the school, we've got eighty people. And this is the IB we're talking about... Normally the numbers go down when we get our GCSE's. Thankfully due to my lovely, faraway bestie Laura (Whyyyyy do you havta go to boarding school!?) I already know a few of my new class mates so, I'm not completely overwhelmed by social awkwardness... Well yeh, I still am, but not AS MUCH! And my dear Nesi is also ''helping'' me. With that I mean she is making me talk to random people. I hate it. I hate it Nesi, cn u hear!? But I get that I need to get over myself and just do it, so I do. I also hate that you're right. -.- When there were still holidays, and I had none of these terrible problems, I read the book that I uncharacteristically even preordered on amazon: The Rise Of Nine by Pittacus Lore, which is part of the Lorien Legacies series, which started with I Am Number Four. Wow, that's a lot of 'italic' in one sentence! Weeell, it is a terribly good book, and I feel ashamed to say that I cross read some other book with it.. You see, I am still on the Pretty Little Liars series, actually in the first chapters of one, when this baby arrived. I mean, you know how some good book just start of slower and some are like *BAM!* *CRASH!* *OHMIGOD!* right from the start, The Rise Of Nine deffenightly does boom and crash...
I never read multiple books at the same time. Since I don't have a boyfriend, my books are my relationships for now, and even though they might only last a few days I did concider myself as a faithful bookworm until recently. I mean I'm against the concept of cheating (in relationships of any kind) in general, so I do, genuinely, feel awful about it. Especially 'cos I had an amaaazing time! Who doesn't like booms and crashes? Enough of this..
The series is about a group of aliens on earth which are actually hiding from another scary, bad alien race who are trying to kill them.. Thankfully they look exactly like humans, except for gorgeous... So yeah they've already had a few fights with the other aliens called 'the Mogadorians'. And they've all learned how to fight from their mentors (except for Marina, 'cos her mentor was stupid), and most of their mentors have died already.. Sad, because their mentors were basicly like parents to them.
The book picks up right where the last one left of so it's pretty much really intense from right at the beginning. It's from three perspectives, John/Number Four, Six and Marina/Number Seven, and that is mainly because they spend most of the book in two seperate groups at other ends of the world.. John is with Nine in the USA and Six, Marina and Ella/Number Ten meet up with Eight in India, where the latter is worshipped as Vishnu, since his legacy is shape-shifting.. So John and Nine are not getting alon very well, mainly because Nine is a slightly arrogant, taking life not at all serious, guy who annoys the sh*t out of John before they start becoming friends, and probs still afterwards.. :) And they are trying to find out what to do next while they wait for Six to come back. At the same time Six, Marina and Ella and Ella's mentor have to fight some in India in order to get to Eight and then they are really annoyed when he is making them prove themselves worthy before actually coming to meet them. Eight is obviously also really good looking and has the same taking like not at all seriously attitde as Nine, but it later turns out that he found out that he's gonna die fighting before he met any of them and he doesn't get to go back to their home planet.. Poor guy.. So then there's some more epic fightling in India this times not just an army but the Mogs too, and Ella's mentor died, which is horrible because the girl is only twelve.
Who else could be my Johnny boy but Alex? :)
In the USA John and Nine have some fun with the FBI, who can't get them restrained because they are all freakishly strong and the FBI seems to be wielding Mog technology weapons, which is when they find out that the govenment and the Mogs are working together.. YAY! So then they take a road-trip down to New Mexico because they find out the one of their rockets is being held by the stupid Feds.. The rocket isn't the only one though. There's also John's human girlfriend and best friend (you remeber Sam and Sarah!) and by that time Six. Eight tried to teleport (another of his legacies) them out of India to new Mexico because thats the nearest place to John he can go, and only Six actually ends up there unfortunately, the rest are in Somaila and then have another stop by Stonehenge which Eight completely manages to destroy, just for fun :D, before they also get to America.
Badest and coolest chick on the block: Six
Six doesn't have any water since she ended up in desert Dulce and gets caught by the stupid FBI and then they give her some stupid drugs that make her talk stuff she doesn't wanna say. After she's not dehydrated anymore she realises that they gave har drugs and kicks the sh*t out of some agents who want to give her more, she is seriously the most bada*s girl ever :D especially 'cos her legacy is invisibility, hehe! In the end the boys meet up with the people from India and there's only one Grade (thats waht they call themselves) left that they haven't met yet, so they decide to fight the ugly leader of the Mogs who is also in the FBI's base. Then they fight again and it's really awsome and loads of them nearly die but don't and then the Mogs vansih 'cos they're affraid of something, hopefully! By now there's been a ''sweeeet'' reunion with John and Sarah, which I totally hat because, I think that Sarah's the completely wrong girl for him! HE SHOULD BE WITH SIX!! He kinda likes her, she deffs likes him, they're both loric (the alien race they are), everything wud be perfect, but NO, John has to think he likes stupid Sarah more!... -.-
Those Eyesss!! Caspar you gorgeous specimen!
That is kinda where the book ends, I'm really excited for the next one but I'll have to wait atleast another year, in total there's supposed to be six :D So, that gives me still lotsa hope for John and Six, but I' suspecting it's more likely gonna be Six and Nine :'( I like nine a lot, I think he's absolutely hilarious but, in my oppinion, he's not perfect for Six!! Ooooh, and I also forgot to say that Marina and Eight get together, which is sad, 'cos we already know he'll die! :(
I learned to love another person. I might have shyness issues with real people but I do fine with intenet guys!! Awww Caspar Lee, you gorgeous and absolutely adorable South African boy!! I wuv himm! He's so preeetty and so funnnny and so preeetty and I like his accent! You have to go check him out un youtube!! But keep your hands off.... He's miiiine!
STUPID Film! DO not watch!
I also watched a really stupid filma called The Royal Tenenbaums which is a story about a seriously f*cked-up family, the Dad tries to reconnect with his wife and kids by telling them he's got six weeks to live, the Mom is about to marry another guy, Son 1 is completely safety obsessed and won't let his two kids have any fun since their mother died in a plane-crash, Daughter feels unloved because she's adopted and chain smokes since age twelve and Son 2 is a failed tennis-pro who lost his game when his sister marries another guy. You get it... He's in love with her! I only watched it because the trailer actually looks funny and who can resist a film with Owen Wilson and Ben Stiller, and the there are also Owen's brother Luke, and Gweneth Paltrow so I thought, this is gonna be good... No. It's a stupid non-happily-ever-after-film. :'( Sniff.... I like happily-ever-afters! I mean all ends well but it's a really weird indie/artsy film that just happens to starr loadsa cool people. DON'T BE TRICKED BY FALSE ADVERTISING I TELL YOU! I didn't particularily enjoy it. I felt really cheated in a way.. Expect something to be good.. Ends up being stupid.. And one more thing: Usually I don't get grossed out in cinema kissed, but I guess you can't help it when a brother and sister get together... Urghhhh! Eww! Gross.....!!
So to put it in a nutshell: READTHE RISE OF NINE, DO NOT WATCH THE ROYAL TENENBAUMS!!!
Bye ppll!!!! XXX Happy first day of school!!
Ps.: OOh, Ohhh, one more thing!! My brain won't shut up so I'll just have to put it here! DID YOU WATCH THE PLL SUMMER FINALE!??? OHMIGOD. Would have NEVER have thought that Toby was A's little helper!! I was betting on Caleb until that very moment and then I felt awful, because he even got shot!!! And also OHMIGOD, Emily killed that guy O.O!!
Love this! Makes me laugh every time, 'cos it's so true!! :D
