Vive La France!

This weekend I wanted to go to a 'Remember Tomorrowland Party' with the real and actual Dimitri Vegas! But... I had an Otitis (Ear Infection) last week and my mom wouldn't let me go because she didn't want me to get worse again! So I was really sad and my mom took me to see the new Les Misérables film in the cinema! I had never actually seen the musical and I didn't know a lot about the story so I was going into the film with no expectations. OHMIGOD IT WAS AMAZING!
I'll tell you right now that I cried the entire second half of the film! It was so bad!! If you don't know the story of Les Mis it's about the June Rebellion in France, which really didn't result in any change sadly. It spans about twenty years and follows Jean Valjean a criminal imprisoned for stealing a loaf of bread. He then goes on to become the mayor of a town when he is released and adopts a poor woman's daughter as she dies. He becomes involves with the Rebellion on the rebels side and finally also dies. The character was portrayed by Hugh Jackman, who I only really know as Wolverine and I was really surprised at how well he sings! The film also stars Anne Hathaway (Fantine), Amanda Seyfried (Cosette), Samantha Barks (Éponine), Eddie Redmayne (Marius), Russel Crowe (Javert), Helena Bohem Carter and Sasha Baron Cohen ('evil' innkeepers, the Thénardiers).
Something that really touched me is that the film is actually really good in portraying how the poor people were living and how unfair life really was for them. The first song in the film was ''Look Down'' is goes ''look down, look down, you'll always see a slave..'' and that's really how things were at the time. Things were so bad that people were forced to do the most horrible things to survive themselves and then also got imprisoned for the most minor things because the ones who were actually better off would report on the others in order not to slip into any misfortune themselves.
Jean Valjean rescuing the dying Fantine and
promising to take care of her daughter.
And It was really well portrayed how quickly that could happen, one day Fantine works in a factory and the next she is homeless and has to sell her body, because she has a daughter. In one of those really sad scenes she sings ''I Dreamed A Dream'' which really showed how she has given up on life and that the only thing she is living for is her little daughter. This was the first time that I really started crying! I mean Anne Hathaway may have her faults but she acted this scene to perfection. She can sing rather well, and she was crying at the same time and it was so so sad to see this scene. Just so beautiful!
Then the film goes on to show how she dies and Jean Valjean, who is called Monsieur le Maire by now, takes in her daughter, Cosette. Later then the beginnings of the revolution and the directors and producers did an amazing job at portraying the restless mood at the time. Also we got to know Gavroche, he is a street child who is about nine or ten and he is kind of like a mascot for the revolutionists who are kind of like his family. He is really tough and sooo cute!!
Éponine dying in Marius' arms.
Éponine Thenardier
And then you meet the grown up Cosette who, as the daughter of the mayor, is quite rich and beautiful,  the leader of the students, Marius, falls in love with her. The daughter of the Thénardiers, who were 'taking care' of Cosette while her mother was working, is called Éponine and in the beginning it's not quite clear if she's a b*tch or whatever.. I mean she comes from bad parents so you'd expect her to be bad as well. But more and more you start to feel sorry for her instead of cautious because you realise she's in love with Marius and he doesn't even look at her twice! She even helps him find the girl he's in love with, instead of snitching on Jean Valjean's location to Javert (mean police guy), which shows just how much she loves him and it's so heartbreaking because Marius doesn't even say thank you! And then she sings ''On My Own'' which is such a sad, sad song, it made me cry so much! Because it says how much she loves him but ''without me, his world keeps turning, a world of happiness, that I have never known!'' and Sam Barks just does a beautiful job of portraying her locked-up pain!
Cosette and Marius
Èponine goes on to be the only girl within the resistance and of course she's the one to die first.. Taking a bullet for Marius. A little Romeo and Juliette but such a nice scene, I still cry when I think of her final song! ''A Little Fall Of Rain'' (can hardly hurt me now..) And in that scene Marius holds her and tells her hes going to keep her safe and close and he wants to close her wounds with words of love and it me a snotty and blubbering mess. I really admire Èponine, I've read in interviews and stuff that Cosette is supposed to represent Love, and I strongly disagree with that claim: It's 'Ponine who represents the truest and purest love. She loves Marius so much that she doesn't even care about herself anymore. All she wants is for him to be happy! Cosette is a good girl she in my opinion presents the possibility of a positive future, also love but not anywhere NEAR as much as Èponine. ''And rain, will make.. the flowers... grow.''
Then came the scene that made me sob out loud like a little baby! It's when the army comes back with the cannons and Gavroche tries to steal something from the front line. You can see it coming and it's inevitable. With the shots of a pistol an officer shoots the boy in the chest - I'm crying right now - and he dies. I couldn't contain myself after that I was full on crying as if he actually were my little brother, and I don't even have any siblings so I can't imagine the feeling of them dying. It's just so unfair how anything innocent and hopeful and beautiful has to die. It just shows how everything that was good was taken from those people! Èponine and Gavroche are my favourite characters by far! Another thing is that Javert (mean policeman guy) actually takes off his own medal and put it on Gavroche's dead body when they lined up the bodies!
Garvoche, Street Child, Urchin, I love him!!
Javert turns out to be another character that you can only feel sorry for, Jean Valjean saves his life and he can't deal with the fact that life is not black and white so he kills himself.
The last scene is also so nice, it's the entire cast singing a song they were singing at the beginning of the rebellion and it is lead by the dead characters. It's like the encore would be in the live stage musical. The music is:

''Do You Hear The People Sing..''
Singing the songs of angry men.
It's the story of the people who will not be slaves again.
When the beating of your heart,
Echo's the beating of the drums,
There is a life about to start when tomorrow comes.

The music is composed in a way that fills up your heart and makes you feel really proud and sad. I know this sounds ridiculous but it's how I felt at the moment. So so beautiful. It's the way a national anthem is supposed to feel when you sing it.
Over all. I must say this is definitely one of the best films I have seen all year and I hope it wins a bunch of prizes and I know the singing's not the best because they're not really professional singers, but the superb acting balances it way out and it's a beautiful film. And just for the record Amanda Seyfried actually does have a beautiful voice.
I hope to see the real stage musical some time not to far away, and if the school ever decides to do a production of it, I'm in even if it's in the middle of my IB exams.
This turned out to be a massive post and I haven't said everything or expressed how I feel about this amazing piece of art nearly enough, but I have to stop now!
If you haven't already, WATCH THE F*CKING FILM! It didn't let me go all weekend.. And I'm gonna say bye for the week!

The Finale

Ps.: THANKS A BUNCH FOR 4000 VIEWS THIS MONTH! THIS IS MASSIVE!! HOW!??? KEEP READING!

''Where Death Rejoyces To Teach The Living''

SO. First of all sorry for being a lazy blogger... I didn't post last week :S Seriously I hate myself when I break schedule but sometimes I just do not have time.. It's an old line but sadly true..
What I wanted to write about was the TV series Body of Proof with Dana Delany. I had watched about two episodes at a friends house a year ago or something, and now that I have a vacuum in my shows schedule I thought I'd pick it up again. I don't particularly like crime series or films but I remembered really liking the show so I gave it a try.. I find that it is actually something I enjoy watching and this might be due to the fact that it's got more of the medical side of the whole thing and that there is a lot of comedy in the series.
It is about surgeon turned medical examiner Megan Hunt, who is divorced and has to deal with getting to know her teenage daughter again. She is a person who does what she wants and has very little friends. No friends she thinks, but it quickly shows itself that, actually, her work colleagues value her a lot and become her friends.
I finished watching the entire thirty episodes (two seasons) in I think 4 days... Yeah.. That's how obsessed I was once I started watching it. But it has the perfect balance between mystery and laugh out loud moments and you really get to love the characters. Most of course Peter Dunlop, Megan's Investigator who kind of is the only one who really knows her. They flirt a lot and he's a really good guy, I think from the first episode I was already shipping them together! It would have been too perfect, too happily-ever-after-ly though.. Peter dies in the season two finale and you really get to see that they should be together, he saves her from a crazy serial killer who wants to kill her and then pull our her brain through her nose with an embalming hook the way the Egyptians used to... Well yeah he saves her and gets the hook wedged in his stomach and dies in her arms. And she cradles him and you can see the pain in her face.
Ethan, Curtis, Kate, Megan, Sam, Bud, Peter
He as well as the two detectives are not coming back for season three which is premiering on the 19th of February.... I CAN'T waiiiittttt!!!!! But I'm gonna miss Peter and Bud SOOO much.. Sam I can deal with I was oddly fascinated by her because she's kind of manly and kind of beautiful at the same time, but I'm not gonna miss her... But PETERRRR!! :'( I mean Megan is technically still dating that other guy, and he seems quite sweet, but they're not soul mates!!!
I really like the character of Megan, because she is a bit of a cold hearted b*tch, but also the opposite at the same time. She is just really likable, and I think Dana Delany is a big part of what she is such an enigmatic character. Dana is over 50 years old, has had no plastic surgery and looks absolutely amazing. She is a bit of an idol right now because she is totally cool. I thought she was thirty to forty when I started watching... But then again, I'm a HORRIBLE judge of age... :D But yeah over time I noticed that she does show some signs of ageing (like a soft chin) but you don't notice it until you really look because you know. That is graceful ageing my friends. Sorry I'm ranting, I have a bit of a girlcrush on her if you haven't noticed yet.
The title of this weeks post is from a Latin sign they have posted over the entrance to their morgue. It is a big reason why I watch the show because it is exactly what they do in that morgue, they are really respectful towards the dead and try to do them justice. And the series has the same respectful kind of theme.
After finishing this I kind of was bored again, and then I started watching Bones. I thought it was a worse version of exactly the same thing and stopped after episode three. I've got nothing more to say about it. Then I started watching The Mentalist and I was finally happy again.
It's another crime scene murder investigation show. It centres around Patrick Jane who is a ''mentalist''. He is a behaviour specialist who was a con-psychic for many years but turned into a consultant for the California Bureau of Investigation. His wife and daughter were murdered by a serial killer called Red John and Jane is out for revenge.
That Cheeky Smile
It's not as good as Body of Proof in my humble opinion but its still pretty good. I love the constant conflict between Lisbon and Jane and I don't even need them to end up together. Differently so with Rigsby and Van Pelt!! OMG, those twooo!!!!! I'm shippiiinggg!! Hahah, and I'm slightly in love with Rigsby. Which surprised me because I thought I was going to like Jane, as he's the protagonist and has that cheeky smile thing going on. But yeah I like him, not love him. Rigsby is just such a darling.
And I also love Cho :D not in that way though. I just think he is also very funny. In the casino murder episode I was amazed what a player he can be and I love the banter between him and Rigsby.
Naww, Van Pelt and Rigsby !
I'm always more nervous when I watch this because in this series there is often a moment where someone almost gets pushed of a roof or shot or something.. Yeah, I just finished on season one with this and am excited to see what is about to happen with Rigsby and Van Pelt as well as Jane and Red John.
So a lot of dead bodies and stuff at the moment.. don't worry I'm fine! :D

Pick And Mix

So, I feel like I haven't done this in a longish time.. I guess I've been busy... Actually, that's no excuse! Especially as so many of you are actually stumbling upon my blog recently, it really isn't fair for me to rest on my laurels... Truth is, I decided not to post during the Xmas hols because I was in Germany and I wanted to spend all my time with my family and not be the asocial person sitting in the corner on her laptop.
And then, when I came back, school hit me like a big fat truck, that is, work, work, work, and more work. Teachers really don't have hearts I sometimes think. Worst thing, soon as I get home from absolutely FREEZING Germany I caught a cold, to be more specific, a pharyngitis that turned into bronchitis and rendered me speechless - literally. Currently I wish I could do sign language, the only way I can talk is by whispering and in lessons I need a translator to ask my questions.. And worse.. people think it's SO funny!
God, I gotta stop complaining.. Well I know that I have had a stressful time but I still managed to watch some interesting stuff while doing art homework and whatnot..
The first thing I want to talk about is Paul Rudd's new film This Is 40. I watched it with quite high expectations because the trailer is funny, and in Knocked Up the couple were very funny characters, but I didn't enjoy it as much as I had hoped I would. To primarily angry middle aged people who can't get their sh*t together does not provide a lot of entertainment value for me.. Maybe I'm just not old enough yet, I should have asked my mom to watch it with me.
This film I did watch with my mom, Becoming Jane, the film about Jane Austen's life featuring Anne Hathaway and James McAvoy. I actually did enjoy this film, as I do most films that play in this time where people are civilised. I am such a sucker for a good romance... Don't judge!!
Tom, Jane and the poor Rich Boy
Well it opens a little bit slow, and at first the story is quite confusing.. I had some laughs in the arguments between Jane and Tom, and thought it especially funny how 'prude' they were in those times.. Reading about animal coitus in a nature book, equals reading 50 Shades in the now world. The dresses and the dancing and the gentlemen are just sooo nicee! I kept feeling sorry for that poor lonely rich boy that she rejected!! I mean he didn't even look that bad and he had excellent manners and he was rich, and nice as well, I kinds kept hoping she would realise that but, at the same time she HAD to get together with Tom! The scene in which she decided she can't elope with him, is so sad, but I really only felt it right in the end when they meet again and he called his daughter Jane!! So sad! THAT's when I got tears in my eyes!! Overall, I won't watch it again, not as good as Pride and Prejudice obviously, but still a good watch...
Happy Family - The Crawleys
Now, something I feel very passionately about. F*CKING MATTHEW from Downton Abbey F*CKING DYING, THE TW*T! Like seriously! I read up about it and found that the actor had quit the role in order to follow other projects and widen his range of opportunities of something... I was SO mad when I read this, I mean he is one of the main characters, they already killed of Sybill, now they've got to single parents and two babies... I mean at least Mary has a son, so there's a heir and all that but.. I can't even.. I already knew it would happen when he was driving home all happy and stuff. I can't believe he did this to millions of viewers. I love the character so much that I am so, so, so mad at the actor even though, as a person I should probably congratulate him... Still. He was such a nice person, he dealt with Mary's b*tching and was always friendly with everyone. I knew that something horrible would happen, I would even have been OK if the baby had died. But no. THIS is the only outcome i CANNOT accept.
I honestly doubt Mary can every be happy again, I think she might go crazy or something. Also, if more actors who are that important quit, say Maggie Smith dies of a heart attack (although this would be reasonable... She IS old), I will stop watching it. NO KIDDING.
Something I also won't be watching anymore is Gossip Girl, I know the series ended aaages ago, but I only finished the last episodes over the hols.. The last episode was a bit cheesy and a bit cramped full of everything but it was still good. Except for I didn't like Dan as 'Gossip Girl' I honestly thought it was going to be Nelly Yuki or Dorota, that would have been sooo much more interesting. As well as I didn't want Dan ending up with Serena, in the beginning they were a cute couple,... kind of.. but then they split up and got back together so many times that it got boring. I was hoping for a little bit of Dan/Georgina action and maybe a bit of Serena/Nate!! But I must say Georgina/Jack Bass was also kind of genius. Well, one thing I have to applaud though is Blair and Chuck, for a long time in the middle I wanted them to be apart 'cos Chuck had turned into a mega-gigantic-annoying-twit but now love is in the air again.. Yay, and yeah... The wedding dress: beauteous, gorgeous, wondrous, incredulous.. I don't know how better to describe it!! Jenny and Eric where also squeezed in there in the end, and a lot of other people, who I had kind of forgotten who they were... and Lilly and Rufus finally united again. Amen. That's how I like it!! I'm gonna miss the divas of the upper east side!! But the end was kind of hinting at a second generation.. We will see, I almost hope they leave it how it is because I think with another generation they have the power to absolutely ruin it!
Blair and Chuck - ''I Do.''
The last thing I wanted to inform you people of is that I am in love, like a twelve year old, with the Percy Jackson book series!! Seriously awesome!! I have finished the most recent book, and am now going to read the Egyptian series by Rick Riordan while waiting for August 2013!! If you don't know the book series or were fazed by the film, read it/give it another try!! I loved it! that can be just because I love ancient history or because the relationships and the stories are actually seriously cute!! I love how the ancient world is integrated into modern day life and how you learn about the Greek and roman gods while you read. I seriously feel like I need to draw a picture of this. I'll do that and then put it on deviantArt so that you can see it!!
So today was a bit of a pick and mix, the last thing I want to say is thanks for your patience and thanks for coming back to read my blog every now and then!!

Gollum Meets The Hobbit Bagginses

Last weekend I did no homework. Well done me! Pat on the back old chum :D But I did go to the cinema and watch The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. I mainly did do because the hobbit Bilbo Baggins is portrayed by Martin Freeman, my dear sweet John Watson from BBC's Sherlock. I only once watched one of the Lord Of The Rings film, but it doesn't really count because I didn't understand much and I thought it was pretty boring. So this was kind of my first Lord Of The Rings experience and I can't say it was bad.
Well, the film is set in the past, In the beginning of the film we can see an older Bilbo Baggins writing down the story for his nephew Frodo. The story starts with Gandalf coming to Bilbo's house inviting him to his adventure to travel to Eriador and he sends a bunch of dwarves to Bilbo's house for a party, the latter isn't very happy about people messing up his ordinary - quite boring - life and refuses to come, but decides otherwise when he realises the offer was genuine the next morning.
They travel together, fight mountain trolls and orcs and they become friends. They also find some elf made swords for Bilbo, Gandalf and the dwarf prince Thorin. They find the elf capital while running from the orcs and their horrible massive dog horses and they meet the elves. I really like them and their style because I kind of really imagine elfves that way!! I already always thought of them Christopher Paulani's Inheritance Cylce like that! Like really straight hair, tall and thin and graceful. No disappointments there. :D Especially the old elven king was really cool, he looked like he was about a thousand years old! I really respect actors who act their whole lives and keep on going because they love it so much. I was actually scared the guy would suddenly collapse!
Then Bilbo and his friends meet some really unfriendly rock giants. Like, literally massive giants made of rock. They were so bulky and stuff, they reminded me of Lego transformers, heheh. And then they fall into a trap and end up in the halls of the Goblin king who is really really fat. There Bilbo meets Gollum. Now let me tell you about that little monster creep. On the one side he is really cute and reminds me of Dobby with is massive eyes and bony body, but on the other hand he's an evil little bastard who creeps me the f*ck out!! I was sitting there with my hands clamped together in order not to hurt my self from a scared reaction. I have this perfect technique of teeth and hand clamping and putting my body in the perfect position so that I don't hurt myself when I get a fright. :P
Well yeah, Bilbo meets Gollum and makes him tell him the way out through a game of riddles and accidentally finds the ring that Gollum lost. When the latter realises this he goes into a full out frenzy which is also quite scary and Bilbo puts on the ring and turns invisible. *Sigh of relief*
After that little incident they have to fight more orcs including the big white orc who has a personal grudge against Thorin, so yeah fight ensues, Thorin nearly dead, massive eagles save everyone and they set of again. The film ends with them seeing Eriador on the horizon and the dragon Shmaug  awakening in the mountain.
Over all I quite enjoyed the film, it was only strange that the film took 190minutes.. That's three hours and ten minutes.. And it only represented A THIRD of the book. And I haven't even read the books and I know that The Hobbit was the shortest by far.. People really just wanna make a mountain of money. One of the thing I really enjoyed though was the quality of the CGI which was really apparent to me due to my previous pretty bad experience with it in Breaking Dawn 2. Another thing I only found out afterwards but totally love is that Benedict Cumberbatch played the evil Necromancer that also appears somewhere along the story. I hope they give him a bigger role in the follow up films :D

Something else I got into through a friend, Lissa, was the TV show Perception.  It stars Eric McCormac as a schizophrenic paranoid neuroscientist who helps the FBI with some of their brain involving cases. And I guess if the cases are serious enough to be sent to the FBI they often involve some brain damaged people. Dr. Daniel Pierce hallucinates and is a bit eccentric but he is a really nice guy who everyone actually likes even though he's a bit quirky.. :D His hallucinations are reflections of his own brain talking to him, which help him figure out his life of riddles and puzzles, because he's also kinda a genius who is so smart he doesn't even realise what brilliant thoughts he thinks consciously.
It's another variant of the Sherlock Holmes stories, I am aware of that, and I like it nowhere near as much as the actual Sherlock or even Elementary but it's still pretty good. I watched the ten episodes of with the first series consists just this weekend which probably also contributed to my lack of homework-doing. The series came out over the summer so I'm kinda a bit late in a way, but I'm glad I found it. It's already been promised a second series with more episodes next summer which I'm looking forward too!!
The series has also made me think that neuroscience is seriously interesting and cool and that it's something I might actually be interested in, but I couldn't be a brain surgeon. Mwaaahh, I couldn't be any surgeon!! But yeah, the brain is a seriously complex and interesting thing and I might never major in it or become a Dr. but maybe it'll be worth taking for a semester when I am at uni! We'll see! :D
See ya next week and thanks so much for all the view this month has been crazy! About halfway through and already more than in November! :O :D Keep reading!!

The Adventures Of Fat Amy

This week I finally feel inspired again and I actually know what I want to write about! Yaayy!
So I watched this film yesterday that is called Pitch Perfect, and it's been out since September, but I've only seen now, and I actually liked it a lot!
It's a musical comedy, it's cheesy and predictable, but sometimes even those films are good! :D Especially if they've got Rebel Wilson in them! She's such a funny person! I think she's the female Jonah Hill, ohmigod, if they got together and had babies!! :') But they're probably too similar for that! Well, she plays an auzzie girl who calls herself ''Fat Amy'' so that other ''twig b*tches'' don't do it behind her back, and she's quite funny and confident in herself and a really appealing character! But she's not the lead character.
That is a girl called Beca played by Anna Kendrick, who's best known for playing Twilight's Jessica. She's a really cool character I think! She's wants to be a DJ, and is mixing tunes all the time, and I actually think that's quite a cool job to do! Ever since I've started listening to BBC Radio 1, and especially Grimmy (Nick Grimshaw) and Scott Mills I've SO want to become a radio DJ! Well, Beca is forced to join a club in Uni by her Dad, who says that he will only support her quitting Uni and doing music instead if she really tries to fit in and like Uni.
So she joins the ''Bellas'', an acapella group who is lead by a totally up-tight, controlling girl, Aubrey, who failed embarracingly at the last Collegial Accapella Nationals, which means she's even more up-tight and controlling because she wants to redeem herself. This girl is portrayed by Anna Camp, who is also True Blood's Sarah Newlin, which I realised about halfway through. Another reason to like the film. :)
The Bellas are a complete chaos with all the new members and the pressure. But they all get along quite well and Beca even finds herself a romantic interest, a fellow intern at the local radio station. And then they go to regionals and come in second place, and then they lose in the semi finals, but through Elimination of another finalist they're back in the running. They have a fight because of Aubrey's behaviour, and Beca finally shows them that they need to freshen up their song choice and do something more modern. So at finals they do a really cool mash up of 'Price Tag', 'Don't You (Forget About Me)', 'Give Me Everything', 'Just The Way You Are', 'Party In The USA' and 'Turn The Beat Around'. And then Beca and the guy finally kiss and the film ends on Beca leading the Bellas in the auditions for the past year, perhaps leaving space for a sequel...?
I also got a new cutie from the film, the runner of the radio station that Beca interns at. He is a cute Brit played by Freddie Stroma, who is actually half German and half Swedish, and I must say he's got a nice six pack!!! And also he played Cormach McLaren in the Harry Potter series. I like him. He's cute! A lot cute! And German.. :D I wonder if he actually speaks German...
Well yeah, really, really funny film that I enjoyed quite a lot, will watch sequel if they do make one and I haven't matured much more than I have now. :D
I'll leave you with a few of my absolute fave quotes and a vid of the ''Riff Off'' which is basically an acapella street battle! Ô.õ

Just Catching Up

I think I should have like a standard paragraph with an apology for my laziness, which I can just copy paste every time I start blogging. I mean, seriously, this is getting ridiculous!! It's Thursday for goodness sakes! On the other hand, I have been blogging every day for the past three days but I've kinda been doing that on my CAS blog because I intend to get good grades for my first IB report. Actually, no, I've already ruined that. I recently received a Chem test with a 2 on it. 25%... NOT optimal, not even OK... Very bad! and I'm down to a 4 in Maths. Well, it's not my final grade and I should calm down probs!
I just realised, like, yesterday how close we are to Christmas!! I only have one-and-a-half weeks of school left and then holidays, ERMERGED! And then I'm going to Germanyyy, the only annoying thing is that I'll be gone for the full two weeks which means that I'm missing any awesome End-Of-The-World-Parties here in Portugal! And I haven't gone out in suuuuchhh a long time! I guess it has to do with the weather, this stupid rain really doesn't put me in the mood, as well as the fact that I just had a boyfriend so going out and flirting with other boys wasn't really on the top of my list anymore..
Since I've finished Skins as my fill in series I have been reading a lot more.. Remember those posts in which I was complaining that I wasn't able to finish that one PLL book? Well, I finished it and then I read the following two books of the series and THEN I read the first two books of the Percy Jackson series! And I still have a few Percys to go, as well as Tolsroy's Anna Karenina. I saw the trailer for the film and I read up on it and the stuff I found seemed quite interesting, I mean it's described as the best novel to have ever been written, how could I NOT read it? I got the book yesterday though and realised that even in paper back version it is seriously thick, and it has really, really, REALLY thin pages and tiny script! I'll be sure to write about that when I read it! Also about the film! (It has Keira Knightley in it.. I think she's really cool! :D)
What I've been doing in my free time otherwise is mainly watch my normal series which are wonderously dramatic and good! Recently I've been made to laugh out reeaaally loudly by Misfits! I really don't like the fact that now the ENTIRE original cast is dead or in America of something but I guess I'll have to deal, Rudy is still pretty funny! And HOW in the WORLD did he actually shag ninety-nine girls!? Not good looking and a d*ck! Moving on! The ''guy from the bar'' as Finn puts it is missing a p*nis... Ohmigod, I laughed so much!! Who comes up with this stuff!???? I mean misfits is always pretty crazy, Jesus Jr., Zombie Cheerleaders and now Murderous Golfer Rabbits!! I still wouldn't miss it!
In 90210 I'm scared for Liam (his bodyguard is creepy, plus there's the whole Vanessa-is-still-fcking-alive!?-:O-Thing!), happy for Annie, I like her new boyfriend a lot! :), and also scared for Ade! In the last episode Dixon was NOT in a good mood and also quite intimidating.. Quote: ''I OWN you!'' *stink face* Drama, drama, drama, blah! I'm still really happy for Silver and hope she does have Teddy's baby!
Gossip Girl is also interesting, since Sage brought b*tchfigths back to the Upper East Side things are a lot more interesting, Chuck may have been through a depressed spot but now Lily finally believes him!! YAY! Go Lily!! Dan is an a*s who should be punched in the face... THANKS NATE! And S and B are friends again. I'm quite happy with how things are but I'm still waiting for Little J - Jenny - and Eric to come back!!
My new fill in program is Never Mind The Buzzcocks, a British music quiz which is always reallly entertaining due to the very much comedic Noel Fielding!! I really, really, really hope that he and Russel Brand will be put on the same team for The Big Fat Quiz Of 2012!! Those two are legends!
I haven't been very motivated to write this week because I didn't reallly have anything good to tell you but it was good just catching up I guess! :D
Byeeee! Keep readinngg! Thanks for the six hundred views last month!!
